Executive Job Tips: Appreciate Your Loved Ones Every Day
Let’s us all not forget a personal moment of silence in memory of all the people this country on September 11, 2001, we lost that day. In addition there are quite a few of the “first responders and all responders” that are now suffering health issues as a result of their sacrifice to help with the aftermath of that day.
I found this poem IÂ wanted to share with you as a thought for this special day for our country, the author is unknown unfortunately, (Audio version of this is below for you to download to save and share):
If I knew it would be the last time that I’d see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I’d see you walk out the door,
I’d give you a hug and a kiss, and call you back for more.
So hold your loved ones close today and whisper in their ears,
How much you love them, and that you’ll hold them dear.
Don’t forget to live in the present. It’s all we really have.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear”
– Psalm 46:1-2
Focus on being grateful for the good parts of your life today, it will strengthen your heart and your energy for your job search.
Have a great day!
I believe in you.
